Terms & Conditions

The rules for using Padel Ping.

These terms reflect the current product boundary: Padel Ping helps you discover relevant slots and open external booking pages, but the booking itself stays outside the app. The app includes optional product analytics that require your consent and separate technical error monitoring for reliability.

Last updated: April 4, 2026

Summary

  • Padel Ping is an alert and booking handoff service, not a booking platform.
  • Padel Ping Pro unlocks tighter targeting and filter controls, but it does not guarantee faster notifications or successful bookings.
  • Free accounts can save up to 3 alerts. Pro accounts can save unlimited alerts.
  • The app includes optional product analytics powered by PostHog. Analytics is off by default and requires your explicit consent.
  • The app also includes Sentry for technical crash and runtime error monitoring. Sentry is separate from product analytics and is not part of the analytics-consent flow.
  • Subscriptions are sold through Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to those platforms' billing rules.
  • Deleting your Padel Ping account does not cancel any active App Store or Google Play subscription.
  • External booking pages remain separate services with their own terms and availability rules.

1. The service

Padel Ping is a mobile service that monitors supported padel venue availability, matches that availability against your saved alerts, sends push notifications, and directs you to external booking pages.

Padel Ping is not itself a booking service. It does not reserve courts for you, complete transactions on your behalf, or guarantee that a slot will still be available when you open it.

The app currently supports a curated set of UK venues. The set of supported clubs may change over time as venues are added, removed, or modified.

2. Accounts and access

To use core features, you may need to create an account and sign in using a supported authentication method such as email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In.

Sign-up requires a password of at least 8 characters including uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a symbol.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your account credentials, and for activity that takes place through your account.

3. Alerts, notifications, and premium features

The app allows you to create alerts based on clubs, release monitoring, cancellation monitoring, and court type. Padel Ping Pro additionally unlocks precision filters such as days of week, separate release and cancellation watch windows, and cancellation minimum lead time.

Free accounts can save up to 3 alerts. Pro accounts can save unlimited alerts. Pro filters remain visible in the alert editor for free users and open the upgrade flow when tapped.

Padel Ping aims to deliver useful notifications quickly, but notification timing can vary because of upstream provider changes, platform delivery behavior, network conditions, and device settings.

Pro access unlocks additional precision and configuration controls. It does not entitle you to faster notifications than free users and does not guarantee booking success.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Pro subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly through Padel Ping's website.

Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing are handled by the relevant app store platform and remain subject to that platform's own terms and policies.

Subscription receipts are verified server-side before Pro access is granted or maintained. If verification fails or your entitlement ends, paid features may be removed or restricted and your account may return to the free tier.

Restore purchases is available in the app to recover your Pro entitlement on a new device or after reinstallation. Restore uses the same server-side verification process.

5. Analytics

The app includes optional product analytics powered by PostHog, hosted in the EU region. Analytics is disabled by default and only activates when you explicitly opt in through an in-app consent prompt.

You can enable or disable analytics at any time from the Account screen. When analytics is disabled, no usage events are captured or transmitted.

Analytics records anonymous usage events such as screens viewed, alerts created, paywall interactions, and booking link taps. It does not use Apple App Tracking Transparency, IDFA, or cross-app advertising identifiers. Full details of what analytics collects and how it works are described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Error monitoring

The app includes Sentry for technical crash and runtime error monitoring. Sentry is used for reliability and security purposes, not for product analytics or advertising.

Sentry is separate from PostHog analytics and is not part of the analytics-consent flow. It is initialized only when the app is configured with a Sentry DSN.

Sentry captures uncaught Flutter and Dart exceptions and selected handled failures in flows such as billing, booking handoff, and notification routing. For signed-in users, Sentry user context uses the internal Padel Ping user id only and also tags the current subscription tier.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your Padel Ping account from inside the app. Account deletion requires explicit confirmation.

Deleting your Padel Ping account removes your authentication record and profile-owned data, including alerts, favorites, analytics consent preference, and subscription records stored in Padel Ping.

Previously sent error-monitoring events may remain in Sentry according to configured retention settings and may still include the internal app user id, subscription tier, and technical diagnostic context captured at the time of the event.

Deleting your Padel Ping account does not cancel any active App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through the relevant platform's account settings.

8. Third party services and booking pages

Padel Ping depends on third party infrastructure and external booking providers. This includes services such as Supabase, Firebase/APNs, PostHog, Sentry, Apple, Google, and venue booking pages.

When you leave Padel Ping and open a third party booking page, your use of that page is governed by the third party's own terms, privacy policy, booking rules, prices, and availability.

9. Availability and service changes

Court availability can change quickly. A detected slot may disappear, be modified, or become unavailable between the time it is detected, the time a notification is delivered, and the time you try to book it.

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, supported clubs, monitoring behavior, or premium features from time to time, including where required for operational, provider, legal, or security reasons.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service or interfere with its operation.

  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app, backend systems, or other users' data.
  • Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or abuse the monitoring and notification systems.
  • Do not use the service in a way that violates applicable law, platform rules, or third party provider terms.
  • Do not use automated means to scrape, copy, or exploit the service beyond normal consumer use.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, created security or operational risk, or if we are required to do so by law or platform policy.

You can stop using the app at any time. Stopping use of the app or deleting your Padel Ping account does not automatically cancel any app store subscription, which must be managed through the relevant app store account.

12. Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Padel Ping is provided on an as available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error free detection, guaranteed notification delivery, or guaranteed slot availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed bookings, lost opportunities, loss of profits, loss of data, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest published version will apply from the date it is posted unless applicable law requires a different process.

If you continue to use Padel Ping after changes take effect, that continued use will normally mean you accept the updated terms.
